ELECTRONIC VIBES has become Central Queensland’s premier 18+ outdoor music festival, showcasing the very best in new cutting-edge music and unrivalled state-of-the-art production. Last Year's festival came complete with 4 stages, 6 music genres, and over 50 of the finest deejays and LIVE acts both locally and from around the country.
The very special first edition of ELECTORONIC VIBES had something for everyone’s musical tastes - covering the entire spectrum of dance and electronic music & even spilling over into the LIVE pop-rock, indie and electro-punk realm.
Leading the charge, were the veritable ‘who’s who’ of Australian electronic music heavyweights including Evermore (LIVE), The Potbelleez (LIVE), Bag Raiders, TV Rock featuring Zoe Badwi (LIVE), Bombs Away, Tommy Trash ft Mr Wilson (LIVE), Hook n Sling, Timmy Trumpet (LIVE), Tom Piper, Havana Brown, Vandalism (LIVE), Helena ft. Seany B (LIVE), Emily Scott, Danny T, Surecut Kids, John Course, Andy Murphy and over 30 more acts!
Headlining Electronic Vibes 2011 was Aria-nominated pop-rock superstars Evermore – best known for their smash hits Hey Boys and Girls, Running, Light Surrounding You and It’s Too Late (Ride On). Fresh from supporting P!nk on her Funhouse tour around Oz and Europe, these Kiwis have amassed a huge contingent of fans around the globe with their killer LIVE performances. Don’t miss their Central Queensland debut.
Also headlining is an Australian collective who need no introduction, our very own party purveyors The Potebelleez. Dishing up breathtaking LIVE sets, touring the world and producing the duuuurtiest damn house music your ears have ever heard, including their infamous tracks Don’t hold back, Junkyard Durty Dreams, Hello, and their current #1 Aria Chart topper From The Music, The Potbelleez are an Australian electronic institution not to be missed.
Joining The Potbelleez on the Electronic Vibes main stage is 2011’s biggest electronic breakout act, Bag Raiders. Having gained something of a legendary reputation as DJ’s around Australia, these Sydney-siders are riding high on radio airwaves around the country with their smash hits Shooting Stars, Sunlight & Way Back Home.
Also performing LIVE at Electronic vibes are Australia’s best DJ & Vocalist Duo’s including the likes of Gold Coast party boys Bombs Away, Vandalism performing their hit Never Say Ever; TV Rock ft Zoe Badwi performing Release Me, Freefallin’ and a swag of other hits from the TV Rock Repertoire; Tommy Trash ft. Mr Wilson performing Need Me To Stay and their 2011 Summer festival anthem All My Friends; and the beautiful and talented Helena alongside MC Seany B performing his smash hit Flaunt It.
